Zulfiqar Mir has been involved in key assignments where business requirements had to be determined and prioritized. He has worked on numerous technology evaluation and implementation projects and is highly skilled in project management. He completed a masters degree at the London School of Economics where his dissertation addressed the vision of capital market automation and why a disparity exists with contemporary electronic trading in exchanges. Furthermore, he completed a course at Oxford which concentrated on derivatives and fixed income products, and emphasized the methods used for analysis, valuation, and risk assessment. Prior to that, he was at Crédit Agricole Indosuez, where he worked on a core banking system implementation and also participated in various other financial system projects.
